Winter

In winter, the Sunday River resort is the biggest draw. It boasts 8 peaks, 135 trails and glades, 870 acres of trail access and 53 miles of trails suitable for skiers of all abilities.  Sunday River is known for the best snowmaking capability in the East.  The surrounding area also has network of trails for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Spring

As the ski season winds down, enjoy the late season conditions and the Sunday River Spring Fest weekend. And don't miss Step Falls Preserve - the waterfalls are at their most spectacular in the spring.

Summer

In summer, take advantage of two great golf courses within a few miles, water sports, including fishing, canoeing and white water rafting, on the Androscoggin river, or hikes and swimming holes in western Maine's beautiful mountain scenery.

Fall

Fall may be the most spectacular time to be here, as the leaves across the mountains turn. Enjoy hiking, blueberry picking, or, for the very adventurous, compete in the North American Wife Carrying Championship, hosted at Sunday River every October.
